John loves to teach. He began his teaching career at UCLA Extension 30 years ago and since then has taught and lectured at instiutions across the world. He co-founded, was the Executive Director, and on the faculty of TheFilmSchool, where he was committed to teaching high craft and authentic storytelling. He is also on the faculty at The University of Washington's Professional Acting Training Program, one of the best graduate school programs in the country.
He managed the Motion Picture and Television Department at UCLA Extension (the world's largest film school), has been on the faculty of Freehold for 15 years, mentors directors and writers on their feature film and television projects, and also teaches master classes in acting, directing and writing (click here).
